Elastic Problem

See any difference between this two BG Onesize pocket diaper? I bought the yellow one earlier than the pink one and of course both of them were in action very frequently among other cloth diapers. Being washed and wriggled too much by my maid... eventhough I told her countless time not to wriggle cloth diapers when washing. Arrgh...!

Alright, both of them have loose leg casing elastic, especially the yellow one. It can't be used now as it will leaks most of the time and I'm really looking for help!!! Can anyone share with me where to get good quality elastic to replace them? Some WAHM suggested to use elastic for swimwear but I really have no idea where to get it locally (within Malaysia)?

I mentioned about the GAD pocket diaper too whereby the lastin all owrn out and my mum and I tried to replaced them with elastic for our normal garment but it doesn't work. The diaper still leak. Therefore, I have more than one pocket diaper waiting to be repaired... it just I need to get the right material first.

When did you buy them? What version of BG did you buy?

The BG 2.0 and 3.0 come with 12 months workmanship warranty from registered sellers, you can check with your seller if you can claim the warranty.

you handwash or machine wash?
I heard it is better to use laundry net to wash in machine to keep the elestic well...

I'm not sure where you could get them from Malaysia but you might want to try to get it online from http://www.greenbeans.co.nz/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=265_126 It's not that expensive and prob worthwhile getting ;)

lotus: I have no idea whether the reseller has the authority of the warralty in Malaysia? Will check it out... thanks!

chanel: I will handwash first before toss them into washing machine. To be frank, I don't really care for them so detail... :P Meaning no laundry net at all.

Jess: thanks for the link, will check it out.

i'm having the same problem with 2 of my GADs. one is my red winpro and another is purple GADimals which DH crazy about. I've been searching the same plastic elastic but being in Pantai Timur doesn't helps really. But, i found that Drybees is using an old fashion elastic (i think so). i might rather use the old fashion one so that my DD can wear her GADimals again.

By the way, your reviews on CD are somehow impressive. So, keep it up!

Sharine, sorry for late reply
I can help you with the lastin elastic. I got it with me.
I also replace some CD with normal elastic, and it works.
If you still need the lastin, please let me know.I can send it to you.

dinky's mom: you are most welcome... and I think you can try to use the normal elastic maybe it can work. Otherwise it will be too waste just bcoz the elastic had worn out.

Sandra: thanks for your help! BUt in my case, definitely normal elastic is not working as I still encounter leak.
