Formula Feed Babies = Heavywetters?

I just learned about this last night and wonder how true it is? My dd is on formula and I didn't breastfeed exclusively and she IS a heavywetter... the super one! I had heard from other breastfeeding mums that their children are not heavywetter and thus have no problem using pocket diaper with 1 insert or the most 2 inserts.

I'm wondering whether this is so true? I shall try to breastfeed (bf) exclusively for my future baby and see the difference on their wetting. So, your baby on formula or breast milk? Do you agree on breast feed baby has lesser wetting (I mean in volume...)?

i think bf baby wet less, my opinion comparing my son (a formula fed + bm earlier months) with my sister's son same age as my son. she changes less diapers than compared to me.

I see... then I shall try to bf fully for my next baby so that I don't have to use so many inserts and boosters!

Hi! Just happen to be reading your site through miabambina... anyway, I have been bf my ds since he was born... since he's the firstborn, I can't compare but he's a terrible heavywetter at night.. usually need to use a super soaker and microhemp combo

hello Jess... thanks for dropping by and thanks for sharing. So, it also depends in the bay... even bf will have the possibility to become a heavywetter. Nice to know that...

hi, i'm fully bf my 2nd son, he is not heavywetter, as I only use 2 microfiber insert for him(wear at 9.30pm) and it can last until morning 7.30am.

Wah! Mei Fern your boy uses only 2 microfiber and last for 12 hours!!! Amazing... I never come across any cloth diaper or even disposable diaper that can last my dd for 12 hours. I did but it was when she's younger...
