Lasting?
Could be good for heavywetter but not a heavywetter toddler. It doesn't come with stay-dry feature too. The nice part is you can adjust the 1 big and 1 small booster according to baby's need. I always put the small booster at the front (good for boys!) or back snap for my 5 months old DS as a night diaper.
Wash
Bamboo and organic cotton are always the best to wash. No smell retain even you rinse a few time with water only.
Fit?
It's very cute on the small bum bum but it's abit bulkier than Dream-Eze. The cut at the crotch is different. Fit my DS when he was 4-5 kg and was able to fit my DD when she was 30 months old!
PRO:
1) One size
2) Soft and absorbent
3) Flexible in adjusting the long and short snap in doubler
CON:
1) No sewn in fleece liner
2) Takes longer time to dry
3) Require a diaper cover

Hi Sharine, been reading ur blog since I found it via Farrah.
How's the BBH bamboo fitted vs hemp fitted? I have the hemp, and it stink, so I'd change it after 6 hours even though I know (and tried) it can last 12 hours.
I did a review before, pls check
http://journeywifnappy.blogspot.com/2008/01/review-fitted-diaper-baby-beehind-hemp.html
and hemp will become thinner over long time usage and thus less absorbent than before.
Not really a favorite of mine since it isn't soft and fluffy. Quite stiff I might say, even after many many many many washing. Great performance though.
Oh, btw, it will also grow thinner in time. And the surface becomes rough.
well, all cloth diapers will wear off eventually afterall they are made from cloth! My Baby Greens Going Green hemp diaper already thinning out, Drybees OS bamboo also got holes already... it's true especially if they work heavily daily! Haha...
Of course, any full time CD mamas should be aware of that. Just thought of mentioning that since you mentioned that hemp will thin out, and from my experience the BBH bamboo fitted isn't any different cos it also thins out.
But very interesting though, cos the way it deteriorates is just by thinning out, instead of having holes or even ripped off like Cute Tooshies bamboo and Itti Bitti.
so: hemp will thin out, bamboo is stiffer?
i guess that's to be expected :)
just wondering if i should try bamboo... ifit's much better than the hemp one. if i ask hubby...he'll tell me to get another IB - no need for cover, outer is dry bla bla.
I love my BBH bamboo!
BUt if my DH ask me to buy IB I will not hesitate to buy it!
